Account & sign-in
- I didn’t receive my sign-in code
- JUSTSET emails you an 8-digit code instead of a password. If it has not arrived, check your spam or junk folder, and check the address you typed for a typo. You can tap Resend code on the code screen after a short wait. If several attempts in a row fail, wait a minute before trying again — repeated requests to the same address are rate limited.
- Do I need an account to use JUSTSET?
- No. You can complete onboarding, get a plan and train without signing in. An account adds a backup of your data and lets you pick it up on another device.
- I changed phones
- Install JUSTSET on the new phone and sign in with the same email address. Your training profile, current plan, workout history, custom workouts and scheduled edits are restored from your account.
- How do I sign out?
- Settings → Account → Sign out. Signing out does not delete your workouts — they are still there when you sign back in. You cannot sign out while a workout is in progress; finish or leave the workout first.
- How do I delete my account?
- Settings → Account → Delete account, then confirm. This permanently deletes your account and the data saved to it, and cannot be undone. You do not need to email us to do this. If you have lost access to your email address and cannot sign in, contact us instead.
Workouts
- How does JUSTSET choose my workout?
- Your plan is built from the answers you gave during onboarding: your goal, your experience level, whether you train at a gym or at home, the equipment you have, how many workouts you want each week, and how long each one should be. From there JUSTSET picks the exercises, sets, reps and rest for each session, and uses what you lifted last time to decide what to give you next.
- How do I update my training profile?
- Open Settings → Training Profile and change what you need. Your edits are held as a draft — changing them does not silently swap out the plan you are training on.
- What does “Save & Rebuild Plan” do?
- It is the button that applies your new training settings. JUSTSET shows you what is changing and asks you to confirm, then replaces your current plan with a new one built from the updated profile. Your completed workouts stay in History. Until you confirm, nothing about your current plan changes.
- Does changing kg to lb rebuild my plan?
- No. The weight unit is a display preference in Settings → Preferences and takes effect immediately without touching your plan.
- Can I replace an exercise?
- Yes. During a workout, open the exercise options and choose Adapt exercise. Tell JUSTSET why — the equipment is unavailable, it is too hard, you do not like it, or you just want something else — and it suggests a replacement that trains the same thing. The swap applies to that workout.
- What happens if I train offline?
- Everything works. Your plan, your workout and your history live on your device, so you can train with no connection at all. If you are signed in, your completed work is uploaded on its own once you are back online.
- Why is an exercise guide or video unavailable?
- Exercise guides are supplemental, and some are not yet available. If a guide will not load, the workout itself is unaffected — the exercise, your targets and your sets all still work, and you can carry on training.
Data & sync
- Does JUSTSET sync my workouts?
- When you are signed in, yes: your training profile and preferences, your plans, your scheduled workout edits, your custom workouts and your completed workout history are saved to your account and restored on your other devices. You can see the status under Settings → Account.
- What happens if I’m offline?
- Nothing is lost. JUSTSET saves to your device first and shows Offline · Saved on this device. Anything waiting to upload goes up automatically the next time you have a connection and open the app.
- What is stored only on this device?
- A workout in progress. While you are training, the set you are on, the weights and reps you are entering, and the rest timer stay on that phone and are never uploaded. That also means an unfinished workout cannot be resumed on a different device — finish it where you started it. Once you complete the workout, it syncs like everything else.
- What is the difference between “Clear history” and “Delete account”?
- Clear history (in Settings → Data) affects one device. It removes the JUSTSET workouts, history, plans, custom workouts and settings stored on the phone you are using. Your account and the data saved to it are untouched.
- Delete account (in Settings → Account) is permanent. It deletes your account and the data stored with it, everywhere.
- I cleared this device by mistake — can I get my data back?
- If you were signed in, yes. A Restore from account option appears in Settings → Account after a reset. It downloads the workouts saved in your account onto the device, and keeps anything you have trained since the reset.
